Story
Our Founding Story
The origin of TENTIAL began when my dream of becoming a soccer player was cut short by illness. That experience made me realize the importance of living a healthy life and became the driving force behind founding TENTIAL.
From a young age, I dedicated myself to soccer, chasing the ball and striving every day to achieve my dream. But everything changed in an instant. Having only ever thought about soccer, facing my own mortality allowed me, for the first time, to look at my future from a different perspective.
I began to think: I wanted to challenge new possibilities. I wanted to dedicate my life to helping others.
When I encountered the words, “Startups can change the world,” I decided to step into the world of business without hesitation. Through what I learned, experienced, and discovered in this new world, I came to understand that many people face challenges related to their daily condition. This was something my own experience in sports had helped me recognize.
The name “TENTIAL” was inspired by the word “potential.” We exist to support everyone who takes on challenges and help unlock their fullest potential. We are not simply a company that delivers products. We believe our mission is to contribute to society and the planet.
Our story continues to unfold. Each person’s actions create a greater impact and shape the next chapter of TENTIAL.
Together with everyone who continues to challenge themselves, we embark on a journey from Japan to the world. While staying true to what makes TENTIAL unique, let us create a new history together.

In our rapidly ageing society, soaring social-security costs are not only one facet of the burden.
Among the working-age population, everyday ailments—such as lower-back pain and stiff shoulders—and “health debt” stemming from chronic sleep deprivation are routinely neglected. The result is an ever-growing dependence on medical care. These health issues also reduce labor productivity. The resulting economic loss—known as “presenteeism,” in which employees are physically present at work but unable to perform at their best due to ill-health—has become a hidden significant social problem. At TENTIAL, we are committed to eliminating such physical discomfort and health debt and creating a society that embraces health—a world where everyone believes in their potential and is empowered to fully unleash it.

We envision a society where conditioning is not a special activity but a daily habit—something people can practice anytime, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Because conditioning is inherently diverse and cannot be achieved overnight, we are committed to delivering easy-to-adopt products and services that support ongoing, accessible conditioning.
