TENTIAL Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) provides various services (hereinafter referred to as “the Services”), such as the provision of products, services, etc. (hereinafter referred to as “Products, etc.”) through the website operated by the Company (hereinafter referred to as “this Site”) and the operation of an internet shopping site.

(3) Information Acquired from Third Parties

・Information necessary for payment, provided by the customer to a payment service provider.
・Information about the customer, such as behavioral history including cookies, held by third parties that do not possess information identifying individuals such as the customer’s name (in this case, the Company acquires such information as personal data by linking it with the customer’s personal information, etc. managed by the Company).
・Information about the customer acquired from third parties in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act and other laws and regulations, after obtaining the customer’s consent.
・Information about the customer contained in publicly available information by third parties, including courts, supervisory authorities, and other public institutions.

2. Purposes of Use of Personal Information, etc.

The Company uses customers’ personal information, etc. for the following purposes (hereinafter referred to as “the Purposes of Use”).

・For registration for the Services and identity verification.
・To provide the Services to customers.
・For improving the Services (including conducting surveys related to the Services).
・For planning and developing new Products, etc.
・For the Company to provide various communications related to the Services, as well as various information, services, content, coupons, cashback, gift campaigns, and other incentive programs to customers via telephone, email, postal mail, etc.
・For the Company to conduct promotional advertising to customers via telephone, email, etc., or for the Company or a third party to conduct promotional advertising for the Company’s or a third party’s Products, etc. on advertising media on websites managed by the Company.

3. Provision of Personal Information, etc. to Third Parties

The Company will not provide customers’ personal information, etc. to third parties. However, this shall not apply in the following cases:
(1) When the customer has given consent.
(2) When all or part of the handling of personal information, etc. is outsourced to a third party (including those residing or located outside Japan) in accordance with “4. Outsourcing the Handling of Personal Information, etc.”.
(3) When personal information, etc. is provided in connection with the succession of business due to merger or other reasons.
(4) When personal information, etc. is provided for the purpose of academic research to universities or other institutions or organizations for academic research purposes, or to individuals belonging thereto (including cases where part of the purpose of handling such personal information, etc. is for academic research, and excluding cases where there is a risk of unduly infringing on the rights and interests of individuals).

4. Outsourcing the Handling of Personal Information, etc.

The Company may outsource all or part of the handling of personal information, etc. to a third party (including those residing or located outside Japan) to the extent necessary to achieve the Purposes of Use. In such cases, the Company will implement necessary and appropriate supervision over the outsourced party to ensure the secure management of the entrusted personal information, etc.

5. Security Management of Personal Information, etc.

To prevent unauthorized access, loss, damage, alteration, leakage, etc. of personal information, etc. handled by the Company, the Company will take appropriate and necessary measures such as maintaining security systems, establishing management structures, and thoroughly educating employees.

6. Disclosure, Correction, Suspension of Use, etc. of Personal Information, etc.

If the Company receives a request from a customer or their representative for the disclosure, correction, addition or deletion, suspension of use, or erasure of their personal information, etc. in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act and other laws and regulations, the Company will confirm that the request is from the customer themselves and will respond appropriately in accordance with such laws and regulations. However, this shall not apply if the Company is not obligated to disclose or notify under the Personal Information Protection Act or other laws and regulations.

8. Third-Party Advertising and Personal Information, etc.

The Company may use cookies, advertising identifiers (IDFA/AAID), or similar technologies to understand the usage status of the Services, improve service convenience, and deliver advertisements tailored to customers. 9. Changes to this Privacy Policy

The Company may change the contents of this Privacy Policy as necessary.
